Top 10 Monsters to Hunt for Profit
Top 10 Monsters to Hunt for Profit
Gold makes the world go round in Minibia. Whether you need potions, better equipment, runes, or a house, you need gold — and lots of it. We compiled this ranked list of the ten most profitable monsters to hunt, verified against actual in-game loot tables. Grab your backpack and let's go.
10. Rotworm
HP 65 | Exp 40
Location: Darashia, Edron, various sewers
The humble Rotworm is where many adventurers earn their first real profit. They drop up to 17 gold per kill alongside ham, meat, maces, swords, katanas, legion helmets, and copper shields. None of these items are spectacular on their own, but the kills are fast, the danger is low, and the loot adds up quickly. The meat and ham drops also keep your food supply topped off, cutting down on supply costs entirely. If you are a new player looking to build your first stack of gold, Rotworms are the place to start.
9. Minotaur
HP 100 | Exp 50
Location: Mintwallin (south-east of Thais), Darashia
Minotaurs are a natural step up from Rotworms. They drop up to 25 gold along with chain armor, brass helmets, plate shields, maces, axes, and meat. Chain armor and plate shields sell well to NPCs, and the spawns in Mintwallin are dense enough to keep you fighting without much downtime. These are excellent training creatures too, so you earn skill advances while filling your backpack with sellable gear.
8. Cyclops
HP 260 | Exp 150
Location: Plains of Havoc (north of Thais), Edron
Cyclops hit hard, but they reward you for it. Their loot table includes up to 47 gold, plate armor, battle shields, halberds, short swords, wolf tooth chains, dark helmets, and club rings. A single plate armor drop can make a kill worthwhile on its own, and battle shields are a steady source of income. The experience is solid for mid-level characters, making Cyclops an efficient choice for players who want to level and profit at the same time.
7. Amazon
HP 110 | Exp 60
Location: Amazon Camp (south-west of Venore)
The Amazon Camp is an underrated gold mine. Amazons drop up to 20 gold, sabres, and — most importantly — small rubies. Small rubies are genuinely valuable, and they drop often enough to make hunting here consistently profitable. The camp layout is open with quick respawns, so you can move from kill to kill with minimal wasted time. Fast kills, valuable gems, and easy navigation make this a top pick for players in the level 25-40 range.
6. Giant Spider
HP 1300 | Exp 900
Location: Plains of Havoc spider cave, near Venore
Giant Spiders are where the real money starts. They drop two stacks of gold (up to 100 each), plate armor, plate legs, knight legs, knight armor, steel helmets, platinum amulets, and poison arrows. Knight legs and knight armor are highly valuable equipment pieces that sell well to both NPCs and other players. The experience is great too, pushing you toward higher levels while you profit. Just watch out for the strong poison — bring antidote runes and do not let yourself get surrounded.
5. Dragon
HP 1000 | Exp 700
Location: Darashia lair, Thais ancient temple basement, Edron
The classic mid-game moneymaker. Dragons have one of the widest loot tables in the game: up to 105 gold, dragon ham, steel shields, crossbows, burst arrows, longswords, steel helmets, broadswords, plate legs, double axes, dragon hammers, serpent swords, small diamonds, dragon shields, and life crystals. The dragon shield and small diamond are the jackpot drops, but even without them, the sheer volume of sellable items means almost every kill puts gold in your pocket. Dragon ham is also excellent food, keeping your hunting sessions going longer.
4. Hero
HP 1400 | Exp 1200
Location: Edron Hero Cave
The Edron Hero Cave is one of the best hunting grounds in the game. Heroes drop up to 100 gold, arrows, bows, meat, two handed swords, war hammers, fire swords, crown armor, crown legs, crown helmets, crown shields, might rings, red roses, grapes, wedding rings, lyres, scarves, and piggy banks. The crown equipment set — armor, legs, helmet, and shield — is extremely valuable and drops more often than you might expect. Fire sword is a solid weapon drop, and might ring is both rare and useful. The dense spawn in the Hero Cave means high kills per hour and consistent profit.
3. Behemoth
HP 4000 | Exp 2500
Location: Cyclopolis basement, various deep caves
Behemoths are walking treasure chests. They drop up to 200 gold, platinum coins (up to 5), meat, double axes, two handed swords, dark armor, plate armor, small amethysts (up to 5), crystal necklaces, giant swords, steel boots, war axes, big bones, picks, crowbars, and amphoras. The combination of platinum coins and raw gold means every single kill puts significant money in your pocket. Giant sword, steel boots, and war axe are premium-tier item drops that can fund entire hunting sessions on their own. Behemoths are tough — bring plenty of supplies and respect their melee damage.
2. Hydra
HP 2350 | Exp 2100
Location: Goroma, various deep spawns
Hydras offer some of the most exciting rare drops in the game. Their loot table includes up to 246 gold, ham, platinum coins (up to 3), small sapphires, rings of healing, knight armor, stone skin amulets, warrior helmets, life crystals, medusa shields, royal helmets, and boots of haste. Boots of haste and royal helmet are among the most valuable items you can find, and even without those rare drops, the knight armor, warrior helmet, and base gold keep the profit flowing. The high experience reward of 2100 per kill is a welcome bonus. Watch out for their wave attacks and bring energy resistance if you can.
1. Demon
HP 8200 | Exp 6000
Location: Goroma, deep dungeons
The king of profit hunting. Demons drop up to 200 gold, platinum coins (up to 8), fire mushrooms, small rubies (up to 5), small emeralds (up to 5), small amethysts (up to 5), fire axes, talons, red gems, orbs, rings of healing, might rings, stealth rings, giant swords, ice rapiers, golden sickles, purple tomes, devil helmets, gold rings, demon shields, platinum amulets, mastermind shields, golden legs, and magic plate armor. Magic plate armor and golden legs are the most valuable equipment drops in the entire game, worth a fortune on the trade channel. Mastermind shield, demon shield, and platinum amulet are also extremely rare and expensive. Even on kills where no rare item drops, the gem stacks (rubies, emeralds, amethysts) provide consistent baseline profit. The catch: Demons are brutally dangerous, with area spells, heavy melee, and fire elemental summons. Most players need a coordinated team to hunt them safely. But if you can handle the heat, nothing else comes close.
Profit Tips
- Sell common drops to NPCs — plate armor, shields, and helmets often fetch more from NPCs than players will pay
- Save rare drops for player trade — fire swords, magic plate armor, golden legs, and boots of haste sell for far more on the Trade channel
- Manage your cap wisely — carrying capacity limits your hunting time, so prioritize high-value items over heavy low-value ones
- Skip junk loot — do not waste backpack space on items worth less than 50 gold
- Hunt during off-peak hours — less competition for spawns means more kills per hour and more profit
